This training supplies the tools needed to describe and apply the workflow for dynamic analysis in FLAC3D, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of each step involved, including model setup, boundary conditions, input signal application, and damping, to effectively analyze dynamic behavior in geotechnical simulations.
As part of the first ARMA Student Design Competition in 2021, this webinar will introduce the use of FLAC/Slope for slope stability analysis.
The competition is sponsored by Itasca and the University of Kentucky College of Engineering and is hosted by the ARMA Student chapters at The University of Kentucky and Virginia Tech.
ARMA will provide a jury of leading experts in rock mechanics and geomechanics with the winners to be announced at the 55th US Rock Mechanics / Geomechanics Symposium in June 2021.
