ITASCA are pleased to announce the release of InSite v3.16

This new version includes a series of developments for improved performance, navigation and visualisation as well as new functionalities, including:

• Automatic VTI velocity model calibration using Gaussian Particle Swarm Optimisation.
• Inclusion of s-wave polarisation in the parameters used in the optimisation search in the Source Scan algorithm, as well as multiple-run to select the optimal solution.
• Visualisation in well logs and inclusion in velocity model calibration of Thomsen parameters.
• Generation of synthetic waveforms for arrays of uniaxial and triaxial sensors.
